Additional Action by Congress is Required
Congress met the aviation moment in 2025 by passing legislation that included a sizable and consequential down payment on a brand new air traffic control system.
We can see the goal of a modern, safer, and more efficient system at the end of the path forward. It is absolutely attainable. But the job is not done.
A single automation platform is the biggest and most important piece in the puzzle that is fitting together tomorrow’s technologies into today’s airspace management. But the down payment does not cover that. It will take additional action by Congress to pay for it.
Why is a single automation system important?
